DISCUSSION CLASS WEEK 28: Sunday Nov. 8th.

As has recently been in the news, you may have heard that a former Fukushima Daiichi power plant worker has been diagnosed with cancer which has been linked to the Fukushima disaster.

Also, recently in Ehime prefecture they approved the restarting of a nuclear reactor.  What are your opinions on what is happening in Japan in regards to nuclear power?

Is it a good idea to restart the power plants?

What new safety precautions have been put into place, and is it even a good idea to have such dangerous power plants in a country that is often hit with earthquakes and tsunamis?
