- I am a bad cook.
While I was walking home, I was almost hit by someone riding their bicycle crazily on the sidewalk. I jumped quickly out of the way to avoid getting hit, and I almost dropped my new t-shirt. After walking for about 10 minutes, I noticed that the sky had started getting darker, and I started to get worried that I hadn't taken an umbrella with me.
It started raining lightly, so I started running home fast so I wouldn't get wet. Once I got home it started raining heavily, so I felt lucky that I made it to my house just in time. I put the new t-shirt in my laundry-basket so I could wash it later, and prepared to make dinner. I turned on my rice cooker and had to wait for the rice to cook slowly so I sat down at my desk and started to write in my diary.
I wrote about my scary encounter with the bicycle that I had on the way home, and I also wrote about the expensive t-shirt that was at the shop. The rain was still falling heavily so I decided to turn on my radio. I pressed the 'on' button on my remote control and all of a sudden the radio played music very loudly!!
I was shocked so I turned the volume down quickly and walked back to my kitchen. In the kitchen I noticed that the rice was almost done, so I started cooking some vegetables and some meat. I am not very good at cooking, and I burnt the food badly. It didn't taste very good after that.
After dinner, my phone started to ring annoyingly. It was my boss calling! I picked up the phone quickly and my boss started yelling loudly. "Why didn't you come to work today?!!" yelled my boss, I had to reply quickly....
